Eating Disorder Treatment: CAOT Webinar Additional Resources for Therapists

If you are an Occupational Therapist, you may have attended my recent webinar entitled Restoring Occupation in Eating Disorder Recovery as a part of the CAOT Professional Development Practice Evidence Webinar series. This webinar was intended for Occupational Therapists who treat individual as a part of their practice, or that want to develop their skillset in this area.

Here are some of the resources that I provided during the webinar that are valuable sources of information.

National Eating Disorder Information Council (NEDIC) provides information, support, resources, and referrals across Canada for individuals affected by eating disorders, food and weight preoccupation, and related concerns.

Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire (EDE-Q) is a commonly used assessment tool in eating disorder practice. It can be used for screening, treatment monitoring, and cut-off scores may be used as eligibility criteria.

Monte Nido offers a wide variety of professional development opportunities focused on the treatment of eating disorders. The best part of all, they are usually free!
